Volunteering

All People Helping People programs are managed by volunteers and governed by the organization's Board of Directors. Most volunteers support PHP programs, logistical needs or administrative functions for two to five hours per week and there is a need for a variety of skills and interests.

Please complete the Volunteer Interest Form to express an interest in helping our organization. Certain volunteers are subject to a background check by an FCRA compliant Consumer Reporting agency. This applies to a a very limited number of volunteers who, due to the nature of the volunteer duties they perform, are afforded certain employee protections under the law and therefore must be screened as the law requires for employees. In some cases, driving records may be required.
